Prototype design and manufacturing

As part of our growing portfolio of work in the field of prototype design and manufacture, we have worked closely with many specialist companies to develop their products for use primarily but not exclusively in the Non Destructive Testing industries, some these companies include, The Welding Institute, Inspections Solutions Cymru Ltd, and Premier NDT Ltd.

Many of the projects undertaken in the past have involved development and improvement of existing products whilst on others we have been involved from the primary concept stage through the design prototype and then final manufacture of product for sale, this has on occasion also included the development of manufacturing and assembly procedures as well as OEM manuals and documentation if required.

The design team consists of CAD design and Project Management personnel who are all fully conversant with the latest computerised design and drawing systems as well as the use of the latest project management software.

Manufacturing capability includes manual lathes and milling machines as well as CNC turning and milling capacity, this allows us to be competitive for one off parts during the design stage through to larger batch sizes for production runs and sale.

As well as our machine shop capacity we also have a full welding, fabrication and polishing section, capable of welding a variety of materials including aluminum and stainless steel as well as the more exotic materials such as hastalloy. To compliment this facility we have also now added orbital welding capacity for high quality repeatable welding of tube sections if required.
